Study Abroad

Globalization continues to play a pivotal role in business transactions and communication.  To that end, Wharton encourages students to study abroad during their academic career.  The study abroad experience teaches our students to communicate effectively across different cultures while learning business from multiple perspectives.  Students often find their study abroad experience to be a defining moment in their educational and interpersonal growth.

“Studying abroad in Argentina was an amazing way to take what I have learned here at Wharton and apply it to the real world.  Not only did I learn a lot, but grew personally in the experience.  Traveling throughout South America and living in a bustling city like Buenos Aires was incredible, and the abroad program allowed me to truly understand an entire part of the world.”

“Studying abroad in Rotterdam helped me gain a new view of the world, more confidence and maturity.  I became an international citizen through working with international students and companies and gained so much independence to even travel solo. I visited 11 countries in my time there and made fantastic Dutch friends (and learned Dutch to speak to them!).  I’m coming back to Wharton completely recharged and excited for the unique opportunities we have here.”
