The Wharton Council is comprised of sixteen students who oversee Wharton traditions like Winter Whartonland, Clubbing Night, Wharton Undergraduate Leadership Forum. The group also oversees budgetary matters for clubs, initiates the club recognition process, and upholds the policy and regulations standards for clubs. Every member of the Council serves as a liaison to all recognized student clubs and provides necessary support and guidance. Wharton Dean’s Undergraduate Advisory Board: Comprised of Wharton undergraduates, the Wharton Dean’s Undergraduate Advisory Board (WAB) works to improve the overall undergraduate experience specifically the academic environment by collaborating with administrators in the Wharton Undergraduate Division and in the Dean’s Office. WAB meets regularly with the Vice Dean and administrators within the Division to provide feedback on their findings and to recommend areas of improvement and enhancement. Cohorts: Founded in 2006, the cohort system is designed to enhance the Wharton undergraduate community. There are many wonderful opportunities in each cohort class including social activities, community service projects, career discovery and exploration series as well as many leadership opportunities like serving as a cohort mentor, a cohort buddy and a cohort council member. Click here for more information on the cohort system.
Wharton Alumni Relations Council: Working with Alumni Affairs, this council works to promote awareness of Wharton Alumni Affairs and creates interactions between undergraduate students and alumni. In addition, WARC helps Alumni Affairs and Wharton Undergraduate Division with the fall and spring Wharton Alumni Colloquia, which is a series of workshops and seminars led by distinguished Wharton alumni.
