Come Visit

Due to growing concerns around the coronavirus (COVID-19), and out of an abundance of caution, the University has made the difficult decision to suspend all campus visit programming beginning Monday, March 16 through the end of the spring semester. This includes Wharton information sessions and class visits. The Admissions Visitor Center will also be closed during this time.

We encourage you to explore our diverse and vibrant community through Penn’s new virtual campus tour (which includes Wharton locations and information) and get some helpful tips and practical advice on how to approach the college application process.

We invite you to visit us and experience our dynamic community firsthand.

Not sure what to do when you’re here?  Here are a few things to do while you’re on campus.

Admissions Information Sessions

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions holds information sessions to help you learn more about Penn and the admissions process. Information sessions are led by Penn Admissions officers. Register for a campus visit.

Wharton Information Sessions

Other than on holidays and days when the University is closed, Wharton typically hosts information sessions on Mondays and Fridays at 12:00 p.m., with additional dates available in March, April, and October (see the spring 2020 information session schedule here). Advance registration is required for all campus visits. Please check in at the Admissions Visitor Center, Claudia Cohen Hall (ground floor), at least 10 minutes prior to your visit.

Campus Tours

Tour our 279-acre campus including Jon M. Huntsman Hall, Wharton’s state-of-the-art academic facility. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions offers student-led tours that include Wharton facilities. Register for a campus visit.

Attend a Class

If you will be on campus and are interested in getting a closer look at the Wharton curriculum, please consider attending a Wharton class (see the spring 2020 class visit schedule here). You can also attend a class at one of Penn’s other three undergraduate schools. Class visits are not available during the summer.

Coffee Chats

Coffee Chats give prospective students who are high school juniors or seniors the opportunity to have coffee with a current Wharton student and learn about student life at Wharton and Penn. The program takes place at 1:00 p.m. on select Fridays during the fall and spring semesters. Coffee Chats are exclusively for prospective students. Students will meet their host after attending the Wharton information session and will reconnect with their families afterward. Registration is required, and you must also be registered for that day’s information session.
